NOTES FROM THE DEAD ZONE // DAY001
What an amazing opening night. Barely an hour into it and we already had our first raffle insta-winner, Emily Ward! It didn't take long for the space to fill up- the wine and cheese were flying off the table. The Club-Mate USA was flowing and it got the people going.
As we all migrated to the back room for the listening party, you could feel the energy in the air. Plunged into darkness, guided by the light of the glowsticks, we sat and listened to the new album. Multi-colored lights bobbed to the beats. Some sat eyes-closed just soaking it all in. We took that journey together.
Afterwards, the record looped and the lights came back up. There was more wine and Club-Mate to be drunk, more chances to win the raffle, and lots of great new friendships were born.
Near the end of the night we gathered everyone together once more to announce the Night One Raffle Winner ... Rachel Lynch!!!! She walked away with a test pressing of my new record (only 5 copies exist in the world) and a great limited print from Limited To One Record Store!
...And that was just the first night!!
